The Volunteer Pathway
DIA encourages members to get involved and create their own DIA experience. Volunteering is an excellent way to promote your own professional development and broaden your network of professional colleagues. DIA recognizes that our members already have many demands on their time, and opportunities exist within the association to accommodate all levels of volunteer involvement. The list below describes various DIA volunteer leadership opportunities and indicates the time commitment for each position. These roles gradually increase in time commitment and understanding of our organization and member needs.
You can get involved by proposing an educational idea, submitting an abstract, submitting an article for publication or volunteering to speak at a DIA meeting.
If you would like more information regarding Leadership Opportunities, please email your request to Mary.Hildebrandt@diahome.org. Thank you.
